More iPad launch leaks: HD game listings are out in the wild

Full details on new versions of Flight Control, Real Racing, Fieldrunners and Disney Fairies.

More details on iPad's games launch line-up have emerged, with App Store listings for a series of titles out in the wild.

We spotted them on website AppShopper, which is offering an RSS feed of new iPad apps culled from Apple's own data.

Last night, a bunch of iPad games popped up, including Flight Control HD, Real Racing HD, Touch Hockey Extreme: FS5, Fieldrunners for iPad, Flick Fishing HD and Disney Fairies Fly on iPad.

Besides showing that Apple hasn't adopted quite as stringent a lockdown on pre-launch leaks as in the past, there are a couple of other conclusions to be drawn from the various listings:

Extra features
Some developers are clearly adding in more content to the iPad versions of their existing iPhone games. Flight Control has more maps and new multiplayer modes, and Flick Fishing has a new social Brag feature.

Pricing boost
iPad games will be more expensive at launch than on iPhone. Flight Control is bumped to $4.99 and Real Racing to $9.99 for example, while Fieldrunners jumps to $7.99. Even at the cheap end of the scale, Flick Fishing HD is still $2.99, rather than the iPhone entry-level price of $0.99.

The iPad's App Store will be live for users this Saturday, when the device goes on sale.
