Mobile publishing provider MoMac has announced an MBO that gives investor Truffle Venture a majority stake and MoMac’s management a significant holding.
MoMac’s technology platform GoMedia helps brands publish and distribute media content on mobile devices. Clients include Emap, Condé Nast, ITV, Hallmark and others. The MoMac tools also let them build, host and maintain their own mobile sites and portals.The company is Netherlands-based, but also active in the UK, Germany, Belgium and Ireland, and enjoys strong relationships with the mobile network operators. “We are pleased to have engineered this deal with Truffle Venture, which gives us a fresh start to take advantage of opportunities for growth throughout the mobile industry,” said Sham Careem, MD of MoMac UK.
