MoMac launches 'Global Reseller Programme'

Plans to take its mobile publishing platform overseas with strategic partners.

Momac's GoMedia platform is currently used by multiple brands and operators - including Vodafone, T-Mobile, O2, KPN, 3 and Orange - to power content  and web portals.

The firm has been experimenting with the idea of an international reseller programme for many months. In one such trial in South Africa, MoMac’s domain became the fifth most visited off portal domain in the country (Source: Opera).

This gave the firm the confidence to launch a new reseller division to extend its reach worldwide. Parters will use the GoMedia Platform to service local media, web brands and mobile operators.

Among confirmed partners are Thumbtribe (South Africa) and W-Mode (Canada). Deals for US and North Africa are to be confirmed soon.

Sham Careem, MD of MoMac UK, said: “We have built robust relationships with media and mobile operators in our domestic territories. Our challenge was to replicate this in new markets.
