Unlimited downloads service comes with three-day free trial

MOG has released a mobile streaming music app for the iPhone and Android-based handsets.

The app is free to download and comes with a free three-day trial (no sign-up or credit card required).

After that it's $9.99 per month for access to 8 million songs with unlimited listening and all-you-can-eat downloads, as well access to MOG’s desktop service.

MOG differentiates itself from the competition by being 'artist-based', i.e users can listen to continuous music from a specific artist, and can introduce similar artists into the mix using a slider control.

David Hyman, founder and CEO of MOG, said: “With the launch of our mobile apps, we’re getting that much closer to making MOG ubiquitous and making it easy to access the world’s music collection on-demand for a low monthly fee.”
