Spike Lee confirmed as the host of the You to the Power of 12' competition in June.
The festival will co-incide with the Cannes Lions 2009 Advertising Festival, which takes place between June 21st and 27th.
It will give creatives the chance to develop branded communication via video for big name brands, get their work seen by a potential 10 million people on nternet and mobile and win $120,000 in prizes.
Mofilm has brought together 12 brands - AT&T N.A., Best Buy, PepsiCo, Hewlett Packard, Kodak, Renaissance Hotels and Resorts, Nokia, Philips, Telstra Australia, Unilever,Visa and Vodafone - for the content.
Each brand will post a brief on the Mofilm website, which will explain all guidelines to enter and allow entrants to compete for awards and prizes. Briefs are not limited to ideas linking directly to the brands themselves.
Mofilm will also team up with film industry professionals to offer creative advice via its Twitter page.
