Mofilm launches iPhone short films app

Made-for-mobile movie firm gets App Store action.

Mobile movies company Mofilm has launched an official iPhone application of the same name.

Developed by Ohlala Mobile, it provides access to Mofilm's catalogue of short films and other content, streaming them over the network.

Users can search by category or browse the top films, while rating them and sending their favourites to friends.

Mofilm has been one of the leading lights of the nascent mobile movie world, enlisting the likes of Kevin Spacey, Robert Redford, Isabella Rossellini and Spike Lee.

It also runs an annual mobile film festival as part of the Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona. The new app costs £0.59 from the App Store, and is available now.
