Modu is a record breaker

Israel's modu has been awarded a Guinness World Record for creating the world's lightest mobile phone.

The company's eponymous device made its debut at Mobile World Congress in February, claiming to be the world's first 'modular' handset.

This means the core modu device can be put into a variety of 'modu jackets' and plugged into other 'modu mates', such as a laptop, etc.

Modu was awarded the Guiness World Record after judges declared that: "The lightest mobile phone is the modu, which weighs 40.1 g (1.41 oz)."

It's dimensions are 72.1 mm x 37.6 mm x 7.8 mm

For the record, so to speak, China's Haier claims to make the world's smallest phone in the form of the Elegance.
