We're about to find out what Americans will think of W*nkboy.
Brighton-based Mobstar Media has secured US distribution for its content through Flycell, which says it will deliver the company's 'groundbreaking, time sensitive, high quality video and animation' to operator decksMobstar's output includes audio, video, mobisodes and games, encompassing what it calls the 'six c's' of mobile content - cute, cool, current, crude, comedy and countries.
Original brands include the aforementioned W*nkboy (file under crude), Sammy The Clown and Tranny Formers, but much of its content is tied in to current events.
Flycell CEO Alberto Montesi certainly gets it: "We will be able to create new, time sensitive content directly relating to the current news stories, and be able to offer it to consumers very quickly. For example, if a pop diva suffering a breakdown shaves her head, we’ll be able to create and swiftly offer a suite of content directly relating to that story."
