Mobile content based on cult tween brand now into Central and Eastern Europe.
Mobivention has picked up distribution rights for Hello Kitty mobile content in Germany, Austria, Poland, Croatia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Slovenia.In addition to image products such as wallpaper, themes and Flash Lite wallpaper, Mobivention's deal with brand owner Saniro also includes MMS Cards and Java games.
Going forward, Mobivention says it will build themed sub portals for Hello Kitty, which it says will offer end consumers, mobile network operators and licensors a significant added value.
It's been a busy few weeks for Hello Kitty in mobile, with FunMobility inking a deal to offer content based on it and other Saniro characters to iPhone users.
