MobiTV says it has streamed 88 million minutes of World Cup action as of July 2nd, which it says is equivalent to one viewer spending 61,111 consecutive days in front of the TV.
The company says the tournament, currently airing on ESPN Mobile TV in the US, is its highest performing live event to date.
To put the World Cup stat into context, MobiTV reckons it streamed 2 billion minutes of content last year.
MobiTV isn't the only mobile TV provider reaping the rewards from this World Cup - last week FLO TV said its total viewing minutes surged 39 per cent during the first five days of tournament.
