Will let users pause on their mobile and resume watching on their TV.

MobiTV plans to launch a new 'TV everywhere' service this week at CTIA, which will allow its customers to watch shows on their TV as well as their mobile devices.

In fact, it will let viewers pause watching a show on their smartphone, then resume watching on the bigger screen if they want.

"We solved the hardest part first," CEO Charlie Nooney tells Bloomberg. "The most complex piece is the mobile device."

The company has been working on the new service in stealth mode for three years, according to the article.

However, its success may depend on MobiTV signing the necessary deals with service providers, not to mention the rightsowners for the content that it's making available.
