Mobile video firm Nexage raises $4 million

Funds will be used to build out PhoneCast Pro 2.0 offering.

VentureBeat reports that Nexage has raised $4 million of a $4.5 million first round of funding in the form of preferred stock.

The company first rolled out its PhoneCast Pro 2.0 solution back in February last year.

It takes the form of a hosted solution that the company says reduces the complexity of creating and distributing of video content.

PhoneCast Pro 2.0 also supports as insertions, and is integrated with various mobile ad networks.
