Small net profit after tax in 2010 compares with £1.2m loss in 2009.
The company said revenues grew by 40 per cent to about £10m in the last calendar, with £0.5m coming from the sale of ringtones.com
Meanwhile mobile internet revenues were up by more than 400 per cent year-on-year, and one can assume that a proportion of that came from the firm's major new project Appitalism – a hybrid of social network and multi-platform app store.
EBITDA tripled to around £0.3m from £0.1m.
CEO Simon Buckingham said: "Mobile Streams delivered record financial performance in all of the key revenue and profit measures during the 2010 calendar year, whilst at the same time investing about £1 million in developing the new Appitalism social apps and digital content platform and service."
