Mobile Streams launches PublicAd

Wholly owned subsidiary to focus on advertising and marketing in Latam.

PublicAd, named after the Spanish word for advertising “Publicidad”, will run from offices located in New York and Buenos Aires.

It will initially focus on monetising the ad inventory created by Mobile Stream's mobile internet services as well as in-app inventory opportunities created by its Appitalism app store.

Simon Buckingham, CEO of Mobile Streams, said: “We are very excited to launch our PublicAd subsidiary as we believe that over time, advertising will be a significant new revenue stream and growth engine for Mobile Streams.

Our aim with Appitalism is be the leader in apps magnetisation, whether the business model for those apps is premium, free or freemium.

"As such, the advertising revenues compliment and supplement our existing transactional premium revenue streams from paid apps.”
