Mobile Streams has 750,000 subscribers

500 per cent up on this time last year, mostly because of Latin America.

The firm outlined in its interim results last month, confirming that mobile Internet revenues increased by over 400 per cent in 2010.

Its services are built around music, games, apps, news, sports, fashion, horoscopes and celebrities, and are available regionally through dedicated mobile internet sites such as mobileWAP.com, appitalism.com and also the short code “2323” in Argentina.

Simon Buckingham, CEO of Mobile Streams, said: “The Latin America team has achieved amazing success and growth with the Mobile Internet services in just a year since their active launch.

"We are continuing to see these services grow, with new services and new markets being added steadily.

"Since some of our operator agreements include increases in our revenue share payments as we reach revenue milestones, our bottom line results have also benefited from the growth.”
