New site built using Wapple Architect's Joomla and Wordpress plug-ins.
Mobile users accessing the MDA's website are now automatically delivered content that is optimised for mobile browsers.
The organisation, which represents the mobile data industry in the UK, used Wapple Architect's Joomla plug-in to ensure images are automatically resized and that the look and feel of the website is appropriate for mobile consumption.
In addition, the MDA blog, which is part of the main website, has been updated and tailored to mobile using Wapple Architect’s Wordpress plug-in.
Martin Ballard, director at the MDA, said: “Our website currently has 250,000 hits a month from 30,000 unique visitors and now, through Wapple’s technology, mobile users will be delivered with optimised and up-to-the-minute mobile friendly web content, regardless of the capabilities of their device.”
