ME and Nokia celebrate a decade of mobile content in a special supplement - download it now!
Yes, it's just one decade since two Finnish engineers started us on a fabulous journey.Until 1997 the mobile was designed purely for voice calls. Or so it seemed, until Taneli Armanto looked inside the guts of a Nokia handset and delivered iconic game Snake and Vesa-Matti Paananen almost simultaneously created the first programmable ringtone software.
To celebrate those events and how far the mobile content industry has come since, Mobile Entertainment magazine and Nokia have produced a special 16 page commemorative supplement.
Inside you'll find a bit of history, an exclusive interview with Anssi Vanjoki, Nokia's EVP of multimedia, a closer look at Nokia's next-gen services and pics of giant old school handsets.
You can download the supplement, bundled with a PDF of the January issue of Mobile Entertainment magazine, right here. Enjoy.
