Finlands Leiki has delivered a personalised ad system to United magazines.
The platform delivers different types of content, such as editorial articles, user conversations and ads, to match a user’s own tastes and preferences. It’s based on the Leiki Focus personalisation engine, which delivers similarly themed items even if they do not have the same keyword.It therefore enables web advertisements to be targeted based on topical analysis of content. The advantage of the new system for the advertiser, compared to other current systems, is a higher response rate to the campaigns.
The first text ads will appear on the Plaza.fi website, which is one of Finland's largest portals. After this the system will be applied to other United Magazines' web services, such as magazine web sites and NettiX classifieds sites including Nettiauto.com. Picture ads can also be used in the future.
