Average visitor looks to spend more than $500 on a getaway.
Travelzoo says its US users have embraced mobile more than ever this summer, reporting four million web visits across its mobile site, and iPhone and Android apps since July 1st 2012.
That's equivalent to 26 per cent of the holiday booking site's total web traffic, a ten per cent surge on summer last year.
Visitors sought out 'travel deals' the most, with a particular interest in 'vacations', and 'cruises' at an average of more that $500 per person.
Dave Ambrose, senior director of mobile and social, Travelzoo, said: "Millions of Travelzoo subscribers are now accessing our travel deals and Local Deals via mobile devices.
"This is testament to the quality and relevance of our mobile offering. It's particularly rewarding to see travelers buying in-destination deals through their mobile devices while on vacation, as this behavior signals a heightened level of interaction with the Travelzoo brand."
