The distribution agreement with orange France can be filed alongside similar deals with T-Mobile UK, orange UK, TMN and others. It will enable subscribers to download multiple titles on Android and Java devices.
Titles are priced up to €5.99, and are accessible from the ‘Applications’ category on the Orange World portal and preloaded via the Application Shop.
Gwen Delhumeau, biz dev manager for Europe at Mobcast Services, said: “With our strong partnerships with telcos, handset manufactures and retailers, we could potentially cover up to ten per cent of the digital book market in the UK alone in 2011.”
