Deal gives RingRing clients access to over five million Mobango members on 2,500 devices.
Mobango will connect to RingRing Media’s evolutionary ad exchange which aggregates multiple ad sources maximising mobile ad revenue for sellers of mobile inventory.
This is an important development for both parties. RingRing is one of the fastest growing mobile media planning and buying agencies dedicated entirely to the mobile internet. This deal gives it a significant route into the app space with a partner that has delivered over 550 million apps already.
For Milan-based Mobango, a distributor of cross-platform apps from the open mobile web, the deal provides an significant new revenue stream and the ability to feed back metrics to its partners.
RingRing Media clients will also be able to use Mobango’s Pay-Per-Distribute (PPD) platform. This pushes apps to opted-in users based on specific parameters. Providers only pay when their applications are downloaded, improving ROI.
Fabio Pezzotti, CEO of Mobango, said: “We’re very excited to partner with RingRing Media. We're in the midst of an app boom, yet most mobile application providers struggle to distribute them, and to measure their return on investments.

"This is why Mobango's PPD platform is attractive to RingRing Media: it provides a unique pay-per-performance platform for its clients; full targeting and segmenting capabilities; tracking; and tools to measure application downloads in real time.
Ben Tatton-Brown, CEO of RingRing Media, said: "We’re proud to offer Mobango’s community access to premium ad campaigns, tailor made for their screen, handset and location via the world’s first mobile ad exchange.”
