Says PPD is up to 20 times more effective than traditional promotion methods for apps.
PPD is a bidding system allowing content owners to bid for premium visibility on Mobango, but only pay for the downloads they receive. This makes the system more cost-effective than CPC or CPM.

Developers can also target their campaign by region and by handset, and allocate a daily budget for promoting a particular app or mobile site - and see full analytics for their campaigns. Mobango also offers an “assisted PPD” for brands and agencies.
The Mobango community has more than five million users, and carries over 1.1 million pieces of content optimised for over 2,000 phones. Downloads increased 500 per cent in 2009.
