MobAd hires Martin Bowley as chairman

TV veteran and former EMEA chief of Playphone joins UK mobile ad start-up.

MobAd was unveiled a few days ago as a client-side specialist. It was founded by former Saatchi tracking and optimisation expert Daniel Solden.

Bowley certainly brings loads of experience and a fat contacts book to the role.

He was CEO of Carlton Screen Advertising from 1992 to 2003, and went on to join the D2C firm Pitch as CEO, and then Playphone. In 2009 Martin was appointed CEO of Digital Cinema Media.

Solden said, “I am absolutely thrilled to have Martin on board. His extensive experience of growing global advertising businesses will be an asset to MobAd.”
