Founder Steve Ives steps aside for former Yahoo exec.
Mobile search firm Taptu has announced that its founder and CEO Steve Ives is stepping aside to a role as president, to be replaced by Mitch Lazar.
Does the name sound familiar? Yes, that's the Mitch Lazar who used to head up Yahoo's European mobile operations.
He joined Taptu earlier this year as president and COO, but will now step up to head the company as it expands into the US, and launches new services.
"We are evolving our business in a significant way beyond mobile search and I am excited to lead Taptu into its next phase of growth," says Lazar.
"Our teams are busy at work on an innovative new product that will put Taptu at the center of your mobile experience."
