Real-money gambling isn't allowed on iPhone, but that hasn't kept m-gambling firm Million-2-1 from the App Store.
Now a subsidiary of gambling giant International Game Technology (IGT), it's released its first iPhone game, Cleopatra.
It's based on one of IGT's real-world slot machines, and has been developed by the original designers.
There's a global leaderboard, but it's played purely for fun: no money changes hands other than the £1.19 required to buy the game on the App Store.
IGT and Million-2-1 are one of the first mobile gambling firms to launch an iPhone app, although several have launched iPhone-optimised web games, which don't require Apple's approval.
Charging for the game makes it a revenue stream in its own right for IGT, but it's also possible that making play-for-fun iPhone games now may stand the company in good stead if Apple ever relaxes its rules on full gambling in the future.
