Millennial Media Q3 revs up 88 per cent year-on-year

Mobile ad network, Millennial Media, has released its Q3 2012 results ending September 30th with revenues surging 88 per cent year-on-year to $47.4m, rising from $25.2m in Q3 2011.

Meanwhile, the firm served ads to 380m monthly unique users around the globe, with more than a third coming from the US at 150m users.

More than 38,000 apps are enabled for the Millennial platform, while the firm recently furthered developer support by teaming with AppStori to fund new apps.

Paul Palmieri, co-founder, president and CEO of Millennial Media, said: "As previously announced, we delivered accelerated revenue growth for the third quarter along with strong gross margin performance.

"Our comprehensive suite of advertising solutions continues to be sought after by more and more brand advertisers looking to use a proven mobile platform to achieve their marketing objectives."

Millennial expects Q4 revs to reach between $61m and 63m, reaching between $181m and $182.5m for the full year.
