Music trade event to make MidemNet digital and mobile stream part of the main programme.
MIDEM, which takes place in Cannes every January, launched MidemNet in 2000 as a two day precursor to the full programme. From 2010, accreditation to MIDEM will include automatic access to MidemNet in the Palais des Festivals’ Auditorium Debussy.
Next year's MidemNet will take place on January 23rd to 24th, with MIDEM scheduled for January 24th to 27th.
In another new feature, MIDEM delegates will be able to visit a new MidemNet area, housed on the main exhibition floor, where 15 selected companies will make presentations of their activities and business models. There will also be a MidemNet Academy for workshops such as “How to market your artist on Twitter?”
