Metismo syncs with Metaflow

Entirely new kind of M&M will cradle games from early development through to operator submission.

Metismo has integrated its Bedrock handset adaptation technology with Metaflow's content submissions platform.

The companies say the deal means content can be developed from concept through to operator submission while avoiding manual manipulation of the required assets - i.e. someone screwing up a filename along the way.

Bedrock will synchronise with Metaflow’s device database to ensure the latest handset information is in use by all members of the value chain. Common naming standards in use between Metismo and Metaflow will also reduce errors, the partners say.

John Chasey, CEO at Metismo, said: "We already believe Bedrock to be a huge benefit to any content provider wanting an efficient, scalable approach to development. Partnering with Metaflow is the natural next step to provide an entirely integrated environment."

Bedrock's cross-compiler converts J2ME source to native C++, simultaneously deploying your product to BREW, Symbian, Apple iPhone, Windows Mobile and more.
