MEF reveals candidates for MEF Americas board elections

But there's still time for others to throw their hats into the ring...

Industry body the Mobile Entertainment Forum has announced the current list of candidates for its upcoming MEF Americas board elections.

With seven seats vacant, 14 industry figures have so far put themselves forward, although the deadline for applications isn't until this Thursday.

The list of current candidates is:

- Ron Czerny, Founder & CEO, Playphone
- Ran Farmer,  Managing Director for Americas, Netbiscuits Inc
- Patrick Flanagan, Senior Product Manager, Mobile, Dolby Laboratories
- Amit Khanduja, EVP, Jump Games Reliance BIG Entertainment
- Sanjaya Krishna, Principal & US Digital Services Leader, KPMG LLP
- Aaron Luber, Director of US Operations, Saffron Digital
- Reno Marioni,  Strategic Partnerships, Internet & Social Networking, Nokia
- Steven Masur, Managing Director, MasurLaw
- Dan Mo, Senior Program Manager, T-Mobile USA
- Antoni Muntaner, Chairman, Binbit Group
- John Orlando, CMO, LiveWire Mobile
- Soren Schafft, GM Americas, Fox Mobile
- Karl Seelig, CEO & President, RingPlus
- Brad Spahr, Executive Director, Digital Distribution, Sony Pictures
- Gavin Kim, Vice President, Content & Data Services and Enterprise Mobility, Samsung Telecommunications America

The vote will take place at the MEF Americas AGM on 1st September in Los Angeles. The same day sees MEF's Mobile Leadership Summit, a half-day seminar focusing on new developments in mobile entertainment.
