MEF report slams reports

Crappy sales reporting is costing the biz 10 per cent of its potential revenues, says the MEF.

A new report from the Mobile Entertainment Forum, unveiled as part of its content sales reporting initiative, says one in two respondents receive up to 50 different types of reports. And 42 per cent said their reports are not accurate.

It’s why the MEF is currently creating best practice guidelines for content sales reporting that can be adopted across the biz based on timeliness, relevance, accuracy and consistency of reports.

The results of the survey will be used to inform MEF’s ‘Content Sales Reporting Best Practice Guidelines’, due to be released in Q1 of 2008.
