Ad firm re-brands to reflect its global muscle.
Until 2009, InMobi was known as mKhoj - a name that reflected the firm's Indian roots, but was eventually abandoned in favour of a more generic moniker.
Now, InMobi has tweaked its logo as it enters its third phase to 'demonstrate our successful transition from a regional mobile ad network, to a true global leader in mobile technology."
It also says the new logo 'symbolises the constant delivery of dynamic communications, to a variety of consumers, on every mobile platform around the world.'
InMobi serves over 77bn impressions a month. It raised $200m in funding last September to press ahead with global expansion and R&D.
