Medio Systems has delivered over 1.5 billion answers to subscriber queries since launching white-label search for Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile US and Telus Mobility.
The company claims to attract over 1.4 million new subscribers every month and a high returning user ratio. It says the stats re-enforce its status as the leading mobile search provider in the North American market. And it’s been achieved pretty quickly, with the Telus service launched in 2005 and the others going live mid 2006.Brian Lent, president and CEO of Medio, said: “In a highly competitive landscape, we have been selected as the mobile search provider for many of the top operators and we look forward to announcing additional major operator relationships in North America and Europe in the near future. We’re pleased to see the commercial gains our operator partners are realizing as a result of this approach.”
Medio is expected to announce a pan-European white-label operator deal in the next few weeks.
