ME Top 50: start arguing now…

ME Top 50: start arguing now…

Is Yoshimi Ogawa (pictured) the most powerful woman in mobile content? Yes she is, if Mobile Entertainment magazine's eagerly awaited Top 50 execs list is any guide...

The president of Index Japan, one of only a handful of women on the leaderboard, is present as a result of her company’s pioneering work domestically and rapid expansion into the US, Europe and elsewhere.

She lines up alongside an array of content business execs, including suits from Hollywood, the music biz, search engines and more (see list below - full details of why each exec merits Top 50 status can be found in the December edition of ME magazine).

Nothing we print ever gets as much industry feedback as our Top 50. To explain: we wanted the list to comprise both visionary thinkers and execs whose day to day decisions affect the evolution of the business.

We had our own ideas, but we also polled dozens of industry figures to make it democratic. Many suggested themselves or their bosses. Some even got their colleagues to nominate them. The nerve.

So if you got left out, try not to get too upset or sue us. It’s just opinion, and you’ll have to tell that to your shareholders. Feel free to mail your delight and/or outrage to tim.green@intentmedia.co.uk
