Hundreds of companies submitted nominations for the eagerly awaited event at the Royal Garden Hotel in London in two months' time.
The finalists are listed below, but you can also browse their profiles in the official ME Awards 2009 Finalists Supplement.
The winners will be decided by a judging panel, which is drawn from the ME contacts book and consists of around 400 execs from all sectors of the business.
Members of the jury are sent a PDF of the supplement. They base their decisions on this document and their own industry experience.
This year's awards are sponsored by Mobile Interactive Group (‘Operator Award’ partner), PlayPhone (‘Games Publisher’ award partner), Partnertrans (‘Drinks Reception’ partner), Mplayit ('Best Social Media' award partner) and Nielsen (Silver partner).
A single place at the awards costs £295 +VAT, and tables of ten are priced at £2750 +VAT.
