MCN launches keyword search solution

Search specialist Mobile Content Networks has launched a keyword purchasing solution called allwords.

The concept lets mobile content providers but any keywords in vertical content categories such as music, images, games, shopping and so on. MCN says allwords represents a new revenue opportunity for operators and portals, and a new way for content providers to increase measure user response and thereby maximise sales transactions.

Marc Bookman, CEO of MCN, said: “allwords was developed based on our mobile search service experience, and reflects the unique global perspective that MCN has gained from over a dozen deployments in Asia, Europe and North America.”

MCN provides operators, portals, and content providers with whitelabel federated mobile search management tools. allwords is a component of MCN’s recently launched Digital Content Search services with Yahoo! Mobile Japan, and will be a core component of its activities in all markets.
