Lufthansa iPhone app wins at Smaato mobile ad awards

Spotify, SPB and Soundhound also recognised as category winners

Lufthansa's Clanmo-developed iPhone app has been voted the overall winner at the Smaato Mobile Advertising Awards 2010.

The ceremony took place at the CTIA trade show in San Francisco last night, with the Lufthansa app singled out for being 'a great example of mobile brand management and m-commerce solutions'.

As the overall winner, Clanmo will be given a free booth a Mobile World Congress and be introduced to six venture capital partners from the US and Europe, namely Frank Böhnke (Wellington), Frédéric Veyssière (Innovacom), Jörg Sievert (SAP Ventures), Niall Davis (aeris CAPITAL), Tim Chang (Norwest Venture Partners) and Tim Draper (Draper Fisher Jurvetson).

Additional prizes for the category winners include a free booth at M-Days in Munich, Germany in January 2011, a free booth at M-Publishing in New York in 2011, and two handsets sponsored by Nokia along with tickets to Mobile World Congress 2011.
