Team effort to drive 'mega promotions' in Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas.
Conglomerate Libra Group and mobile marketing specialist BigTime Entertainment plan to focus on the mobile value added services (MVAS) area of the mobile industry.
The partnership between the firms looks to enter the 'mega promotions' race, which Europe has seen with campaigns from Upstream and Buongiorno.
BigTime's interactive gaming campaigns have been used for operators and media groups to create 'MegaPromos', which use games and texts to boost usage frequency and overall mobile payments. Connecting network operators and subscribers as a result.
The joint service officially launched today in Dubai with BigTime Arabia, which hopes to capitalise on the growth in mobile broadband and wireless technology across MENA.
BigTime Arabia believes its MVAS apps will help with customer attraction and retention, thereby increasing revenue streams in the region.
