Rumours build of sharper device to be unveiled at MWC.
Last year, LG previewed its glasses-free Optimus 3D phone and tablet on its stand, prompting some glowing reviews and some nausea.
Now, various blogs are suggesting it is ready to show off a sequel, possibly named the Optimus 3D 2 or Optimus 3D Max in Barcelona in just under two weeks' time.
The new phone is said to be around 9.8mm thick, with a ISP-LCD display for sharper images. It will have a 4.3-inch 3D WVGA Nova touchscreen display, and 8GB storage capacity.
LG has been the standard bearer for 3D in phones, without ever really pushing the tech into the mainstream.
The existing 3D devices let users shoot their own three-dimensional films and then watch them in 3D on a suitably-equipped TV via the device's HDMI-out port, or shared online.
