Manufacturer officially announces new smartphone.
LG has announced that it will be launching its new Optimus G Pro smartphone this week in Korea, Mashable has reported.
The new handset is LG’s first full HD smartphone and will come with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, a 13-megapixel camera, 2GB of DDR RAM, and 32 GB of storage memory, expandable via microSD memory cards.
Furthermore, the Optimus G Pro will also feature a stonking 3,140mAh battery and will run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
A number of unique features have been developed by LG for the Optimus G Pro. These include a video capture mode called Dual Recording, which uses both the front and the rear camera, and VR Panorama, meaning that users can shoot horizontal or vertical 360-degree panoramas.
The device will become available in South Korea this week, although a price has yet to be announced.
