Optimus 3D to be revealed at MWC as expected.
Last week, there was much speculation when a press invite for LG at MWC mentioned 'a new dimension'.
Today, the firm confirmed the LG Optimus 3D as 'the world’s first 3D smartphone offering consumers a full 3D experience right in the palm of their hands'.
Is it though?
There is already a Sharp 3D on sale in Japan. I suppose LG will quibble over the smartphone tag, perhaps.
The Optimus will feature a dual-lens camera for 3D recording, a glasses-free LCD panel for 3D viewing and diverse connectivity options such as HDMI and DLNA for 3D content sharing.
