Amazon sells over 3m items in one day and e-book is the most desired.
The online retailer says this year's Cyber Monday provided its biggest one day sales ever. It received over three million orders, up from 2.3 million in 2010.
Amazon says the most popular device among the sales was it's £89 Kindle e-book, although the firm hasn't revealed exact sales figures.
Earlier in the year, Amazon claimed it was selling 105 e-books for every 100 printed books.
Christopher North, MD, Amazon UK, said: "History tells us that the busiest online shopping day is the first Monday in December and this year has followed that trend.
"This year, Cyber Monday saw the most items ever ordered in a single day with Kindle being the stand-out product that looks set to appear under the most Christmas trees this festive season."

Over in the US, Amazon is reportedly experiencing similar success with its Kindle Fire tablet, which is predicted to sell five million devices by the end of 2011.
Rumours have recently suggested the device may receive a 2012 UK launch and if sales of its e-book sister are anything to go by, Amazon will likely be looking to expand the device sooner rather than later.
