The Open Mobile Summit takes place on June 8th to 9th, just two weeks' away, and is almost sold out.
Among the most anticipated sessions will be those on m-commerce.
Following Orange’s Quick Tap mobile wallet debut in the UK last week, Daniel Gurolla (VP of strategy at France Telecom/Orange) will join high street retailer EAT, industry expert Christian Lindholm, Spanish bank BBVA and device manufacturer Nokia to explore the future of the space.
Meanwhile Chris Brocklesby, CIO of UK high street retailer Tesco, will join Steve Yankovich (VP of mobile at ecommerce giant eBay), Michael Shim (VP Groupon), Travelocity and Forrester to explore the future of mobile commerce on June 8th.
Other sessions explore the magic where location meets social and deals – with contributions from TripAdvisor, LastFM, Layar and Skyhook Wireless.

And after Nokia announced an NFC deal with Rovio for Angry Birds, there will be keen interest in the keynotes being given by Rovio’s founder Peter Vesterbacka and Nokia’s CEO Stephen Elop.
The Open Mobile Summit takes place at London’s Victoria Park Plaza hotel in two weeks, on June 8-9th. Access is restricted to speakers and registered attendees.
