It's the mobile search and advertising firm's answer to Google’s AdWords.

The system lets marketers bid on keywords and categories to run ads that appear on mobile web pages, above search results and in applications including iPhone

This is hardly new, but Jumptap believes tapMatch offers improved targeting to specific phones or operators, demographics or geographic location.

tapMatch runs through an intuitive interface that, Jumptap says, makes it simple to start an ad campaign, upload text and graphic banner campaigns, configure and manage targeting options, track campaign performance and generate reports. Ads are priced and served by auction and advertisers only pay when consumers click on their messages.
