Mobile search firm JumpTap has opened an office in Sweden.
The decision to launch a presence in Stockholm came in response to explosive market growth across Europe, which Jumptap expects to triple to $3.5bn over the next three years.The company also announced five new hires: Rickard Ebersjö, director of sales; Steve McVey, director of ad sales; Fredric Andersson, sales manager; Ati Serpoushan, account manager; and Rickard Nordberg, senior campaign manager.
"Advertisers in Sweden are benefitting from lower costs and higher rates of return from their mobile advertising campaigns," said Mike Kent, Jumptap’s general manager of Europe. "Increasing levels of consumer recall, interaction and receptivity reinforces the validity of the mobile marketing medium and is a key indication of future growth throughout the rest of the world."
JumpTap offers white-label mobile search and also delivers advertising inventory to operator portals and publisher content mobile websites.
The firm has partnerships with operator including TeliaSonera in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Estonia and Lithuania, and Telefonica in Spain.
