Will Xpress Suite development tech attract a buyer in ten days?
US-based mobile gaming firm Javaground has put its intellectual property, assets and technical team up for sale.
The company revealed the news in an email to partners, which has been seen by industry blog Cabana Mobile.
According to the email, Javaground has to make more than $2 million from the sell-off in ten days to pay one of its creditors - if it fails, the creditor will keep the lot.
Javaground's main IP is its Xpress Suite software, which helps developers port their Java games to iPhone, Brew, Android and other smartphone platforms. It also has a white-label app store service called Xpressed.
However, the company also makes its own games, including a series of titles for Sony Pictures Digital, and last year's well-received UniWar and Blood+ iPhone games.
