Jamster freshens up its exclusive Simpsons content line-up for winter.
News Corp-owned Jamster has created a new batch of made-for-mobile Simpsons content for the run-up to Christmas, with new characters and seasonal tie-ins now appearing on its D2C portals around the world.The new arrivals include ringtones, wallpapers and screensavers for Lunch Lady Doris, Milhouse, Martin, Mrs Kabapple, Ralph Wiggum, Principle Skinner and Nelson.
Simpsons content was made available for the first time ever in June to tie in with the eponymous movie, with Jamster offering it in the US through a groundbreaking D2C channel called The Yellow Plan.
A global roll out followed, with Jamster's own D2C channels rather than operator portals again the primary means of distribution.
In recent weeks Jamster has been the subject of a management shake-up with CEO Lucy Hood and CSO Markus Berger-de Leon both resigning.
