Jamba closes Ojom in-house gaming studio

Jamba has closed its Ojom mobile games development unit.

MocoNews has reported that the Berlin-based company will now concentrate on thirs party games and abandon in-house development. Mauro Montanaro, CEO of Jamba, said: "We now already have over 100 partnerships with well-known publishers. Therefore, we no longer see the need to develop our own content in this specific area."

Ojom is probably best known for its Mosquitoes game, one of the few to make the camera integral to the gameplay. It’s also made movie games such as Charlie's Angels: Hellfire and E.T. - The Extra Terrestrial.
