Reports suggest remote streaming and syncing isn't far off
The boygeniusreport has received a tip that Apple is beavering away on a cloud-enabled version of iTunes.
As the article points out, such functionality has been been expected from iTunes for some time, but the details are interesting nonetheless.
The tipster reckons there will be three types of cloud function on offer, namely streaming music from Apple servers to computers or phones; streaming music from home computers to other remote devices; and the ability to sync devices to iTunes wirelessly.
What's more, the report says Apple could be prepping some new devices to support these cloud capabilities, with the company's fall event earmarked for the debut of "two new devices with camera/camcorder capabilities".
