Off-deck mobile community itsmy.com has notched its 500,000th user.
The Gofresh-owned service has passed the landmark 14 months after launch, with the US and UK its fastest-growing markets.Itsmy.com offers users private messaging via picture- and video-blogging and location-based social services. It also has an own-brand mobile TV channel. The site can be reached at either mobile.itsmy.com or itsmy.mobi.
Gofresh CEO Antonio Vince Staybl said: "We don’t have an online networking site and that’s the secret of our success. I don’t see the necessity to mix the ’traditional’ internet with our mobile-only community. itsmy.com is a mobile internet service. We have to think mobile. And that does not work from the view of traditional online media."
