ITN On has unveiled Bollywood Insider, a made-for-mobile TV programme aimed at the UK's Indian community.
The show will form part of ITN’s made-for-mobile news channel, which is currently available on 3, Vodafone Live, Orange and Virgin Mobile.The news comes just days after Orange launched a content store for the UK’s South Asian population, called Vibe Asia.
Bollywood Insider is a two minute round up of news, views and promos from India’s cinema and music scene, hosted by Suzi Mann, a DJ on commercial Asian radio station, Sunrise.
ITN On managing director Nicholas Wheeler said: “Our research shows that the UK Asian market is underserved. ITN On has a sophisticated production unit, with advanced mobile production skills so expect a raft of new ideas on similar themes. Suzi is a real talent and her experience in the market is already proving invaluable."
ITN On recently launched a range of bespoke news, sports and entertainment video content on the UK’s first advertising funded service on network operator 3.
